Position:

Compensation & Benefits Manager, Energy Southeast Asia, Sales Manager

Location:
GE Healthcare, Singapore


Responsibilities:

Manage all compensation and benefits initiatives and processes for GE Energy business with 2,500 employees in Southeast Asia countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam.

Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Implement C&B strategies and processes in the sub-region, working within GE Corporate frameworks.
  • Manage annual salary, short-term incentive and long-term incentive planning with global and local HR Managers & coordinate administration with HR operations.
  • Ensure the competitiveness, fairness and compliance of compensation & benefits policies and practices in order to attract, engage and retain employees.
  • Contribute to the development of global/regional C&B policies and practices meeting the requirements and needs of the sub-region.
  • Drive consistency on compensation, benefits, banding and salary structures across P&Ls and countries, leveraging job evaluation, job structure & grading systems.
  • Conduct C&B surveys, market information collection and analyze market data to provide value-added reporting detailing competitive market positioning.
  • Evaluate and design variable pay compensation plans.
  • Participate in the design and management of regional retention program.
  • Collaborate with HRMs/e-HR to ensure data integrity in the human resources information system (Oracle) and comply with privacy regulations.
  • Lead HR M&A projects on C&B due diligence and integration.
  • Participate actively in Asia C&B Council and build relationships with HR networks in the region.
  • Act as an internal advisor and educate the local HR teams on global business HR teams to ensure C&B policies and processes meet business needs.
  • Actively participates in country/regional/global HR/C&B projects under the leadership of Asia C&B manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University degree in human resources, MIS, business or related areas
  • 5-8 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in a multinational company or a consulting company
  • additional experience with human resources information system and exposure to payroll processes preferred
  • Clear thinker – able to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans
  • Able to balance understanding of the big picture with an appreciation for local considerations and processes
  • Organizationally savvy, builds relationships easily, excellent ability to influence in a highly matrixes environment
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives to closure; strong results
  • orientation mindset; able to manage multiple priorities and lead change
  • Strong business acumen and superior projects/process management skills
  • Possess well developed skills and depth of capability in C&B areas such as market pricing, C&B systems and/or process development, job evaluation, pay planning, compensation analysis and design, with knowledge on TW REWARD system preferred
  • Should be able to work with ambiguity, be highly independent and willing to take initiative, challenge and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to team and network with other HRMs across the region and to work across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, confident, clear and concise.
